Fee schedule
Sellers list free and keep 100% of the sale price. Buyers pay a 5% buyer's premium when a sale completes on Autobuyography.
Autobuyography is a dual marketplace: timed auctions (optional reserve, competitive bidding) and classified / Buy Now listings at a fixed asking price. The fee rule is the same on both paths.
7, 10, or 14 days. Optional reserve (amount stays confidential). If the lot sells, the winning bid is the hammer price. The buyer pays hammer + 5%. The seller receives the hammer โ not a dollar less.
Set an asking price. A buyer can purchase at that price or make an offer. If the sale completes on the platform, the buyer pays the agreed price + 5%. The seller still pays nothing.

Change the rate in js/fees.js (BUYER_PREMIUM_RATE) and this page updates with it. Payments are not live โ this is the preview used in bid and Buy Now flows.
Nothing. There is no insertion fee and no photography package required to submit.
Nothing. There is no seller success fee. You keep 100% of the hammer (auction) or agreed price (classified).
A 5% buyer's premium on the sale price, plus the vehicle itself. That premium is how the platform is funded.
Yes. If a Buy Now or accepted offer completes through Autobuyography, the buyer pays the same premium. Off-platform deals are outside this model.
Not right now. A dollar cap can be added later in the same config file without changing the rest of the site.
Not yet. Bid and Buy Now screens show the real fee math and clearly say no payment is collected. Escrow, bidder deposits, and payouts are the next build.
